Hi, my name is Don and I’ve been a pocket knife junkie since I was about 5. My first pocket knife was one of those little pieces of junk that use to come out of gumball machines. My Mom always thought I was getting gum out of those machines, but I must have tried for months (and spent countless quarters) trying to get one of those knives out of that machine at our local grocery store! This would lead to my first pocket knife reviews … 
Needless to say, once I did get that pocket knife out of the machine, I thought I was a King. I knew I had to hide it from my Mom and Dad or it would have been confiscated. Thank Goodness that it was dull or there is no telling what I would have done!
Anyway, my Mom eventually found it and got rid of it, along with my quarter allowance!
I was about 8 or 9 when I got my first “real” pocket knife, a Schrade Old Timer! I carried that thing to school proudly and showed everyone including my teachers (hah, try doing that these days!) Eventually I bought a cheap honing stone and learned how to sharpen it.
I don’t know when it happened, but I developed a deep desire for nearly every pocket knife I see. I love the well made knives and I’m always on the lookout for a great pocket knife.
